BA CHAPLAINCY: MISSION STATEMENT and PASTORAL PLAN
In concordance with a directive from Fr. Obinna at the Catholic Education Centre (TCDSB), I have adapted a Pastoral Plan and Mission Statement that was previously created at Neil McNeil high school. It is now available for all to see on this site and it also lists the role of the chaplain and the activities that are associated with chaplaincy at Bishop Allen Academy as well as the implementation of our Catholic philosophy in all departments of our school community.
Our school community is named after Bishop Francis Allen and inspired by his patron saint, St. Francis of Assisi, and also we are carrying on the philosophy and spirit of Mr. Patrick Gravelle, our first principal, who always promoted respect for all and an outreach to those most in need of understanding, of direction, and of love.
